WELCOME TO THE NEW PROJECTXWEB.COM!
POSTED BY RAWK

For the 100th time, Project X has a new site! What makes this one any different than the other 99? Well, as robots, we take great pleasure in all things automated, and posting updates to this site is now very much automated and hassle-free! So now we can post here whenever we get bored with our robo-jobs at the rock factory.

You'll notice that you can now leave comments after every update. Please do so! Comments are robotically good! We were considering adding an entire forum to this website, but we'd be sad if it had only 2 or 3 posts, so we haven't yet. If you think we SHOULD add a forum, just say so in the comments or e-mail us at projectx@projectxweb.com.

And yes, we are working on new music. No, it is not Mega Man music. It is, however, totally awesome and crazy and HUGE, and we know that all fans of Project X are going to enjoy our next project. Be aware, though, that ROK and I are creating this life-changing new work of art in our human guises of Mike and Nick, and the name under which it will be released is CLAWJOB, not Project X. And hey, Clawjob may sound dirty, but at least it's not a Matthew Broderick movie ("Project X" is... see sidebar). So, remember: PROJECT X = CLAWJOB. Same people (and/or robots), same roborock sound, different name. Think of it like Clark Kent and Superman, or David Bowie and Ziggy Stardust.

Anyway, that's the news in the future world of Project X. I'll try and force ROK to stop shredding the robo-axe for a minute and post something here.

I've downloaded ALL of your MM music.
I am VERY impressed with every single bit of it.
And believe me, I wouldn't have wasted my damn time on it.
I have a 56k dial up modem.
*sigh*
It took 6+ hours to download alluvit.
And if you ever want some better looking banners, tell me, I'm pretty good!
*Translation: OH GOD PLEASE LET ME DO IT! PLEASE!

lol
I would really love it if ProjectX were to do the MMBN theme.
You and I both know it would Rawk.
Please keep that in mind.

MegaManNetRonin:

Feel free to make some banners. If we wanna use em, we will, and if we wanna stick with that we have, we'll post em anyway so people can see your masterpieces.

Cool site! I think you should post a comment forum. You should also do a forum where MEGAMAN fans could post fan art for everyone to see. If you could also post some pictures of MEGAMAN that would be great! Keep up the good work!

Man this site is really great! I am a huge Mega Man fan and when I heard the soundtracks I couldn't believe it. I hope you would consider keep making the soundtracks for the rest of the series. Keep up the great work.

ANSWERS:

WHAT IS PROJECT X?
PROJECT X
is the collaborative effort of two musical robots to record new versions of the classic soundtracks of Mega Man 2 and Mega Man 3.
*Project X is also a Matthew Broderick movie and a famous punk band, among other things. But THIS Project X is the best one.

WHO ARE ROK AND RAWK?
Rok and Rawk are robots from the future, created by Dr. Light, specializing in the creation of rock music.

WHERE CAN I HEAR YOUR MUSIC?
Our versions of the Mega Man 2 and Mega Man 3 soundtracks are available for download for free on our downloads page, courtesy of www.zebox.com.

DO YOU HAVE ANY FUTURE PROJECTS PLANNED?
Rok and Rawk, in human guise, as Clawjob, have just released Space Crackers, a full-length original science-fiction rock opera. Though it is not directly Mega Man-related, it does take place in the future, on Earth and in space, and it does feature robots. Check it out!
